Hey folks I said I would send out only one email a day and I will keep that promise.

Here is what is going on.  We have been approved for an event in Grant Park IF we meet all the requirements.  That means they can still say no.  We have 15 days and need to give them sometime to say no and come back to us with new goals.  So it is my hope we reach our first hurdle by days end so we have the permit to submit to them Monday morning to start that "no" process still giving us time to meet additional requests.

Here is what we need:

$5,000 security deposits (I was told this will be refunded if no damage is done to property or additional garbage pick up) to be paid in full with the permit

$2,900 for the insurance policy to cover 10,000 in attendance.  The insurance company first gave me a quote for 5,000 but said we would have a problem if we go over by more than 100 people.  So I am shooting high to cover all our butts.  To be paid in full to get bonded insurance issued.

$1,750 to the port-a-john company.  This was originally $100 per port a john but the park dist has said they want same day drop off and pick up bumping the cost up by $75 per unit.  We are gonna pay for 10 units and assume the park will have this be a no, you need more.  To be paid in full and contract submitted with permit

Currently I have a security team that is a 90% donation maybe.  So hopefully that will not be a cost need, we are waiting to hear.  Otherwise I did get a quote for $26 per security officer per hour.

I paid $125 to incorporate as a NFP to take out my personal liability (as requested by our wonderful pro bono legal team of Kameli Law Group

We also need to take into consideration the paypal fees (so what we have raised isn't exactly what we have raised)

Currently our chipin is at $8,728 and we need it to at MIN be at $10,000 and hopefully by days end.
