Dear Friend,
Whether you’re brand new to meditation or a seasoned practitioner, we all benefit from going “back to basics” from time-to-time. Join us this Sunday at 4:00 at the Raleigh Temple where we’ll enjoy a meditation basics class! Simply bring yourself and your “beginners mind”. All are welcome.
Our temple community – or sangha – is full of curious folks from a variety of backgrounds and faith traditions. We recently spoke to fellow practitioner Gray about his experience so far.

How long have you been coming to the Raleigh Temple? What brought you here?
I have been coming for 2 or 3 months. I was seeking a meditation group/spiritual community. I have really enjoyed it so far.
Is there anything you would share with those who are new or that might be hesitant to come practice with us?
The reverends are very kind, and you will meet some very friendly people. This is a great resource for strengthening your meditation and spiritual growth.
How’s it going with your meditation?
My meditation sittings have grown deeper and so has my understanding of the dharma since joining.
What would you like to explore more as you continue to practice with us?
I hope to explore new practices and techniques, deepen the ones I’m familiar with, and also explore ideas I have trouble understanding.
Thank you, Gray!
Did you know?
Our Temple is supported entirely by the generosity of this community. If, like Gray, you have found value in the programs we offer, there are many ways you can contribute. Each gift makes a difference and is greatly appreciated.
Palms together,
Paige (Doh Jin) for Reverends WonGong & Shaun
Your Practice is the heartbeat of our dharma community.
