The 7th blood donation camp of our ರ ಕ್ತ ದಾ ನಿ / Blood Donor community is planned as per the below details:

Date: 6 March 2011, Sunday
Venue: Sacred Hearts School, Bangalore
(Near St. Philomina's Hospital; around 0.5 kms from Garuda Mall)
Blood Bank: Lions Blood Bank (Vasanthnagar)
Time: 10.00 AM to 1.00 PM

Please confirm your participation & spread the message about the camp to all your friends.

You will be getting couple of updates about this event. Sorry for the short notice.

Dear Women,

You are very much encouraged to participate in such camps.

There are basically two reasons to this:

1. Hospitals/blood banks cannot take the risk of calling you in case of emergency blood requests just because majority (not everyone) of you would be having low hemoglobin count. (This is the most common "deficiency" in women.)
   
2. When you participate in camps there would be no worry of the patient being affected if at all the blood donation did not happen. You also get a chance to test your blood and take corrective actions to improve your hemoglobin count. Wherever you donate you will be definitely saving precious lives.

Please do not feel otherwise about the given reasons.
