Job Description:

 

Position:              Manual Tester

Location:              Oklahoma City OK

Duration:             6 -9 months

 

 

 Skills:  

·         3-5 years experience in testing applications and looking for 100% hands-on

·         2 years experience with version control software, defect tracking tools, data mining to generate KPI/Metrics for quality reporting for eCommerce applications

·         2 years experience in testing api, webservices, xml validations (not bookish and true hands on is required)

·         Solid understanding of web technologies including HTML, XML, JavaScript, CSS, HTTP, FTP, JSP and Tomcat

·         Hands-on experience with scripting, Shell, Perl, Java ,etc

·         Through understanding of back-end and concepts of database testing

·         Any development experience is a strong plus including performance testing

·         communication & articulation: sound (5/5)

·         must have hands on: webservices, api, automation (any)

·         sql and unix: must be very sharp and able to write shell programs and stored procedures

·         overall must know qa process (agile/waterfall/rup and should be ready to adapt new)

·         must aware ecommcerce retail business and process strong analytical & logical skills

·         Should be strong in representing qa in end of test reports and must process several skills in publishing qa metrics/kpi

·         Strong knowledge of systems testing; knowledge of regression testing techniques and different methodologies.

·         any development and dba experience is  a strong plus and should have prior experience with offshore-onsite model.

·         Test exposure to IBM technologies including datastage, db2 client or any open source etl tools like talend is a strong plus

·         Resource should be ready to test front-end/content-backend batch/order management systems

·         Able to work with different vendor partners (onsite/offshore model) in tight time lines in date driven & test driven development modes.

·         Hands-on experience in Microsoft technology such as VSTS, ASP.Net, C# and SQL Server

·         Should have experience in generating test plan, test scenarios using User Stories, Requirement document
