Requirement Details:

Role                 :  Sr. .NET Production Support Engineer

Skills               :  C#.Net, ASP.Net, MVC, AJAX, XML/XSLT, JavaScript, SQL, Production Support

Duration          :  6 Months

Location          :  Alpharetta, GA

 

Job Summary:

 

The candidate will maintain, develop, test, and implement web-based portals and applications that provide a wide range of capabilities. The candidate will support both Development and Production .NET environments at the Enterprise level.

 

Position Responsibilities: 

• Develop and maintain existing web applications primarily written in C# and ASP.NET MVC 2 Framework - working independently and as a project contributor
• Maintain and improve existing systems in C# and perform product customizations
• Communicate better strategies, and alternatives for existing solutions
• Participate in project status meetings as required and provide project status updates
• Troubleshoot and ensure timely and effective resolutions of any project issues
• Develop all appropriate tests to benchmark performance of components and tools
• Port production fixes back to development source tree
• Provide daily production support to customers

 

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• 4+ years of multitier enterprise web development using Microsoft .NET platform
• Knowledge of AJAX, XML/XSLT, and JavaScript
• Experience developing bug fixes
• Experience in SQL Server – including Analysis services and reporting services
• Experience with Object Oriented Programming techniques including Design Patterns, Refactoring, and Agile development methodologies
• Excellent troubleshooter and problem solver
• Highly motivated self-starter

 

Position Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelors of Science in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
• 4+ years of development experience in C#, .Net Framework
• Some web application development experience, preferably ASP.NET
• Knowledge of Relational database and OLAP concepts, specifically Microsoft's product offerings
• Experience working WCF is preferred
• SQL experience is a strong plus
