Dear Colleagues,

As you are aware that oil companies have gone ahead and implemented MDG-2014 after getting approval from the MOP&NG making minor changes.  FLDI and AILDF had already sent a Joint representation to the OMCs on 6.02.2014 requesting them to re-consider their genuine demands and had also cautioned them of resorting to Direct Action w.e.f. 25.02.2014 in case the OMCs and the MOP&NG fails to meet their demands.

Implementation of MDG-2014 without considering any of our demand clearly tells the intention of the OMCs and MOP&NG. To register our protest both the federations have decided to go on indefinite strike as intimated to the OMCs and MOP&NG.

You are requested to inform each & every distributor of OMC and ensure complete closure.

We are attaching herewith a copy of press release which should be released in local newspapers on 22^nd February 2014 in your city/state.   It is requested that all releases/statements issued in press should be in line with the press release.
