Attached are some notes for Chernoff Bounds (derivations of the bounds) that I had prepared. I am attaching the source (.tex file) and the output (pdf). I am aware of some typos but have been lazy to correct them. Also, exposition of some things could be better. If someone wants to work on changing things, correcting typos/mistakes, adding applications (what we did yesterday, for example), please feel free (don't feel pressured to do this at all. I just want to provide what I have and if you think it helps you to type up what you have learnt please go ahead and do so). If you decide to edit and add stuff, please share it with others as and when you are done.
