May I suggest the last part of the letter as follows
We , therefore, humbly request the chief minister to arrange with the concerned departments for structural improvements of the drainage in our Rajeswarinagar for enhancing the drain capacity including the reconstruction of side walls and the cover of the drain which have been damaged in the process of de -silting earlier
