Job Title: Python / Robot Automation Tester

Location: Middletown, NJ (Day 1 & 5 Days Office)

Duration: 12+ months contract

 

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python and Robot Framework
• Create and execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end test cases
• Develop reusable automation frameworks and testing utilities
• Automate API, UI, and backend testing processes
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to understand requirements
• Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams for resolution
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and sprint activities
• Generate test reports and quality metrics for stakeholders
• Ensure adherence to QA standards and best practices

Required Technical Skills

• Strong experience with Python programming
• Hands-on expertise in Robot Framework
• Experience with API testing using Postman, Requests Library, or similar tools
• Knowledge of automation testing frameworks and methodologies
• Experience with Selenium WebDriver or UI automation tools
• Familiarity with SQL and database validation
• Experience with Git, GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
