Role: Ab Initio Developer/EDI
Duration: 6 + Months
Location: Franklin Lakes, NJ
Extensive experience creating detailed technical design
specifications with clear traceability to business requirements and test
strategy scenarios.
Experience creating technical solutions that have Re-Use
potential as shared services with scalability for future business needs.
Extensive Experience with software post production surveillance
methodologies, System Health Monitoring and Tuning, Instrumentation/Controls,
and can clearly document surveillance action plans and expected outcomes.
Experience performing cost-benefit analyses to determine whether
requirements are best met by manual, software, or hardware functions; making
maximum use of commercial off-the-shelf or already developed components.
Experience with Use Case Requirements and overall Business/Functional
Requirement Methodologies.
Possess drive to independently identify system
opportunities and demonstrate initiative to solve complex business problems
Demonstrates Tactical and Strategic Technical Leadership for both
Independent Assignments and Team Orientated Initiatives.
Demonstrates
tenacity, empowerment, and perserverance to work through barriers and challenges
to ultimately resolve the business problem at hand.
Experience mentoring
staff and leading both onshore and offshore business and technical partners on
application development initiatives
Experience communicating with vendors
and managing their relationships that positions Client favorably in use of their
products and services.
Software Specific Experience
Experience
delivering multi-layered application solutions to meet complex business or
application logic demands.
Ability to diagnose and resolve issues, including
the determination and provision of workaround and longer term solutions.
Responsible for production support orientated triage and recovery during
both business and off hours to ensure 24/7 systems reliability and overall
operational services.
Experience in defining comprehensive root cause
analysis and prevention opportunities during software problem solving efforts.
Prototyping / SCRUM Skills
Proficient in generating artifacts/products
such as UI's, sketches, models, an early user guide, and prototypes to
facilitate completion of use case requirements, design solution, and and test
driven development construction efforts.
Required Skills:
3+ Years experience with
Ab Initio.
3+ Years experience with DataStage.
Experience with
EDI.
