Job Title: Pega Administrator / Pega Platform Administrator

Location: Austin, TX/Sunnyvale, CA (Onsite)

Type: Contract

Visa: H1B/H4EAD/TN/L2/GC-EAD

 

Primary Skills:

• Pega PRPC / Pega Platform 7.x, 8.x, Infinity
• Pega installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades
• Environment management (DEV, QA, UAT, PROD)
• Platform administration and release management
• Performance monitoring and troubleshooting
• Cloud administration (AWS, GCP, or Pega Cloud)
• Infrastructure support and deployment automation
• CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, and Pega Deployment Manager
• Linux/Unix administration
• Database connectivity and schema management
• Load balancer, networking, SSL certificates, and security management

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Pega environments including installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades.
• Manage application deployments and platform releases across multiple environments.
• Support cloud-hosted Pega platforms on AWS, GCP, or Pega Cloud.
• Perform environment provisioning and infrastructure automation using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools.
• Monitor system health, logs, alerts, and platform performance.
• Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate with infrastructure teams.
• Manage security, access controls, certificates, and compliance requirements.
• Support disaster recovery and high-availability configurations.
• Work closely with developers and architects during deployments and upgrades.

Infrastructure Knowledge Expected

• Apache Tomcat/WebSphere/WebLogic
• Docker/Kubernetes (especially GKE or containerized Pega deployments)
• AWS services: EC2, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, RDS, Lambda
• GCP services: GKE, Compute Engine, Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage
• Terraform / Ansible
• Linux administration
• Networking, firewall, load balancing, SSL certificates

Certifications (Basic Requirement)

• Pega Certified System Architect (CSA)
• Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) (preferred)
• AWS or GCP Cloud Certification (nice to have)
