Client is looking for a strong SDET in Service/Web team with the below skill set.
Job Description:
· Strong object oriented development and design skills (C# / .NET Framework)
· Strong QA skills (planning, bug reporting, troubleshooting, high attention to detail)
· Ability to work in a fast past environment
· Takes initiative to identify issues and make suggestions.
· Experience with Visual Studio (2010 preferred)
· Experience using source control, preferably Team Foundation Server.
· Understanding of and experience using relational databases; Ability to write queries and stored procedures (MS SQL Server or similar)
· Understanding of, and ideally experience using, various forms of security applied to web services such as Basic Auth, O Auth ( 2 legged, 3 legged), and API keys.
· Familiarity with design, development, and testing of WCF services (SOAP & REST)
o Experience with both XML and JSON data.
o Experience consuming publicly available rest services is beneficial (Twitter, Face book, anything restful found on ProgrammableWeb.com, for example)
o Experience using a variety of tools & languages to consume and test services is a plus (C#, Java, j Query, PHP, fiddler, others.)
· Testing experience including
o Automation, particularly around services / API tests
o Visual Studio / Team Foundation / Other tools
o Designing, creating, and executing unit tests, integration testing, load and performance tests.
· Experience with cloud hosted services and service proxy layers / applications is a plus.
· Should be a culturally good fit for Starbucks, good team player, pro-active in identifying gaps and suggesting solutions, good with problem solving.
Years of Experience: at least 5 – 6yrs with above skill set.
Candidate should be strong on SOA, API Web services testing, SOAP, REST ful services, Tools to perform load testing, unit testing, etc.
- Performance tools experience for using services testing.
