Greetings from the High Commission of India in Canberra. 

As you might be aware that India is celebrating 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav' from March 2021 to August 2023 to commemorate 75 years of Indian Independence. Hon'ble Prime Minister formally launched the celebrations on 12th March 2021. 

2.    In this regard, Govt. of India has taken an initiative where we all can participate and be a part of the celebrations. Hon'ble PM during his "Mann Ki Baat" address of 25th July urged all the fellow citizens to sing the National Anthem and create a "Rashtra Gaan" record.

3.    A web portal https://rashtragaan.in has been created, where anyone can record and upload their own videos of singing the National Anthem. A certificate of participation will be automatically issued to the participant once the Anthem is uploaded. A compilation of the uploaded videos will be shown live on 15th August 2021.

4.   All are cordially invited to participate in the same and it is also requested to circulate this information with Indian diaspora and ethnic media for wider publicity and mass participation.
