Dear Friends
Earlier this year in April, we wrote to your organisation about our new community-based services for multicultural seniors in the Canberra & Queanbeyan areas and we promised to keep you updated when services would be available. I am super-excited to let you know that MCCI’s new office in Canberra has recently opened and is located on Level 2 of the Theo Notaras Multicultural Centre.
The team can be contacted on 02 61693986 and are available to help with enquiries about accessing our new services.
In case you missed it, attached is our initial correspondence to your organisation in early April.
Supporting multicultural seniors to live well and be engaged in the community is our passion and so we would like to invite you to a free community information session about our new services, which is taking place next Wednesday 22 May from 12 to 2pm at the Theo Notaras Multicultural Centre. Attached is a flyer for the information event with details on how to register.
This event will be an opportunity for you to meet our amazing team, and also to get some information about how our services for multicultural seniors will work. In early June, some of our first services will include multicultural friendship groups that bring seniors together for friendship and company with a focus on health & well-being, learning about other cultures, and some outings to sample cuisines from around the world.
If you can make it, it will also be a great opportunity for us to talk with you about how we might be able to help seniors in your communities.
We are really excited to be bringing new support services for multicultural seniors in the Canberra and Queanbeyan areas as a specialist multicultural aged care service… we hope you can make it along next week. But don’t worry, we are planning additional information sessions over the next couple of months and we would also be happy to try and arrange to meet with your community 1 on 1 if you think that would help. Just let us know.
