Changingproxy settings has never been so convenient. Think SwitchyOmega as a modern version of the "Proxy Settings" dialog, designed to be simpler, quicker and more powerful, specially optimized for Chrome. No more digging through the advanced section in Chrome settings. No repeated filling and clearing the proxy config dialog of your operating system. Just tell SwitchyOmega about all your proxies, and enjoy switching with one click on the popup menu. You can also teach Auto Switch to use the right proxy for the right website automatically. This extension replaces SwitchySharp, SwitchyPlus and Proxy Switchy. If you are using SwitchySharp, installing this extension will automatically migrate all profiles and settings for you. As a fallback, you can also export a backup file manually in SwitchySharp and then import the file in SwitchyOmega.NOTE: Please report issues by RIGHT-clicking the extension icon and select the "Report Issue" in the context menu so that I can locate and fix the issue more quickly.Alternative download link (Github): is absolutely free and open source. It does not insert ads into any website. It contains absolutely no malware. It just does proxy configuration, and aims to be perfect tool of that.Disclaimer: SwitchyOmega does not come with any proxy server, VPNs or anything like that. Thus, SwitchyOmega will not magically unblock websites or protect your privacy, unless you instruct it to use a proxy server which does. You should only use trusted proxy servers, because SwitchyOmega can not protect you from bad proxies that inject ads, track you or record your password. And if you don't have a proxy server, you probably won't need SwitchyOmega. Sounds reasonable, right?Privacy Policy: 2.x version features:* HTTP/HTTPS proxy authentication (username & password) is now supported.* More flexible proxy configurations: Fixed servers, multiple SwitchProfile and rule lists.* Reviewing and modifying proxy settings for resources that fail to load.* New types of condition for switching and improvements to the existing condition types.* Optimized performance for both PAC script generating and switching.* Improved user experience in options page and dropdown menu.* Many Bug fixes and improvements. More testing.== Translations ==You can help improve the translation of SwitchyOmega or translate it into your language on Weblate: _source=widgetCONFLICTS: SwitchyOmega will conflict with other extensions trying to control the proxy settings. Such conflicts are caused by the design of the Chrome browser and thus cannot be avoided. When SwitchyOmega has a higher priority, it can be configured to voluntarily give back the control by selecting the [System Proxy] item in the popup menu. Otherwise, you will see a red badge on the SwitchyOmega icon indicating insufficient priority. Re-installing SwitchyOmega should raise its priority, providing a possible workaround.

I am working on Mac and have identical Proxy settings for the System and Firefox browser. However, I am able to see my Firefox traffic in Chrales but I don't see my Chrome and Safari traffic (which use System Proxy Settings). What do I need to do? How can I check the debug this?

Desktop applications that set system-wide proxy don't work really well with VPN. I struggled with Charles & Fiddler because I was under a VPN network and almost all the time I couldn't use any of the apps while on my company VPN So I googled for Web Proxy chrome extension and found Requestly.

I work in an env where browser configuration policy is managed by the company. I get the error shown in the title when I try to enable API Traffic for Parasoft SOAtest. It prevents me from being able to record. I tried the following workaround but it did not work. Is there another way around this?

I confirmed that my local SOAtest server was running. I entered the requested information in the Parasoft Recorder extension configuration screen. I tested the connection, and everything lit up green. I then went to Windows "Internet Options" and changed the proxy settings to point to the Parasoft recording proxy. After that, when I test the connection the extension fails to connect to SOAtest.

You will either need an administrator to change the Windows group policy or be able to edit the registry yourself. The workflow requires that the Parasoft Recorder Chrome extension be able to change the proxy settings in Chrome.

IPRoyal Proxy Manager allows you to easily control all your proxies in Google Chrome. It's a free extension that makes proxy use a breeze. You don't have to waste time digging through settings and complicated menus - everything is just a click away.Features:- Import different proxy types in seconds- Instantly switch between different profiles- Set up your bypass list for issue-free surfingManage all your proxies with a single extension. Avoid geo-restrictions, blocks, or bans and enjoy a truly open internet with IPRoyal Proxy Manager!

When I try Firefox, I only get a warning Reading manifest: Warning processing version_name: An unexpected property was found in the WebExtension manifest., but no obvious error messages and nothing happens. If I click on the Kee icon next to the address bar, a completely black window opens, but nothing else happens either.

You can ignore the two Chrome warnings but the error might be a problem. The AsyncBlockingCallback is probably the method that should be handling the interception of the proxy request so it throwing an unexpected error would probably explain why Chrome just falls back to the standard proxy dialog. I would guess that whatever string I was expecting Chrome to supply is not in the expected format. Perhaps it just needs manipulating into a valid URL format or perhaps it is missing entirely.

In Chrome loading the extension fails instantly on load because of some missing file common/common.js, which does not exist when building master, but exists when using feature/92/proxy-authentication.

I am looking for a Google Chrome Extension that will allow me to simply, with a click of my mouse, switch between at least three or more chosen proxy servers with ease, without having to always change my system proxy settings from Internet Explorer all the time.

I would prefer one that is easy to use, can do as I have specified and when I move from school to home I can switch between my schools proxy server to another proxy server when I go home as my school laptop requires the use of a proxy server at home too otherwise I can't go on the internet.

Ghost Proxy Control will let you assign a different proxy for each tab for maximum control at the tab level, which should meet your needs. And if you use the Sessions setting, it takes zero clicks to launch it. When you open a new Session tab, it uses a pre-set proxy address. It's an add-on for Ghost Browser (disc.: I'm the founder), which is Chromium based. Switching browsers seems drastic for this feature, but it works just like Chrome and you can auto-import your Chrome extensions and settings at installation. There is a video here: Set a different proxy for each tab.

The Bright Data Proxy Browser Extension allows you to easily manage and switch between multiple proxies without needing to change your browser settings. It also provides an easy-to-use interface for managing your Bright Data account.

You can configure the settings of the Bright Data Proxy Browser Extension by clicking on the extension icon in your browser toolbar and selecting 'Options'. Here, you can enter your Bright Data account details and configure your proxy settings.

If you're experiencing issues with the Bright Data Proxy Browser Extension, you can try clearing your browser cache and cookies, or reinstalling the extension. If the issue persists, you can contact our support team for further assistance.

For those of you who are not aware of this feature it allows you to launch modern browsers (i.e. Firefox and Chrome) from ZAP -these are preconfigured to proxy via ZAP and ignore certificate exceptions. So no extra setting up is needed at all.

OK, thats not strictly true - these browsers are launched with new profiles which meant that if you wanted to use any browser extensionsthen you would need to install them every time you launch a new browser. Or go back to using your existing browsers and having to set them up to proxy through ZAP again.

Unfortunately its a bit harder to save Chrome extensions - one option is to use theCRX Extractor/DownloaderChrome extension, but you will be able to find other options via your favourite search engine.

Note that if you install any ZAP add-ons which do this (their descriptions will make this clear) then just deleting thebrowser extensions via the Selenium Options screen will not help - it will work but they will appear again when ZAP is restarted. If you decide to delete these browser extensions then you will need to remove the corresponding ZAP add-on.

The problem is that I do not have any proxies set up (I use Verizon FIOS at home and the computer worked fine just Tuesday using my wireless router). I do occasionally watch movies / TV / sports on sketchy websites (like vipbox.tv) but did not do that between Tuesday & Wednesday.

Does anyone have any idea how to get rid of this? I do have an appointment with the local Genius Bar but it isn't until Monday and I would like to avoid the trip if possible. Thanks in advance (and I don't need any scolding about visiting sketchy websites!)

There were no extensions in either Firefox / Safari. There was one in Chrome that I did not recognize that was some sort of security plugin, so I deactivated it and deleted. I restarted Chrome and now instead of 'cannot connect to proxy server' it says 'this webpage is not available ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED' and Firefox says 'Unable to connect' and Safari says it cannot connect to the server.
