Gmod 12 Download Non Steam

As a big fan of gmod I been curious for a while of the history of Gmod and its addons, I tried to go to the very last page of the workshop but its mostly new ones with few or no ratings, Can any gmod veterans had known whats the first addon when the steam workshop was new, I have been very curious that I wanted to play it.
I have tried everything. Reinstalled Gmod 3 times. Verified game cache. Shut steam down and back on again, but this bug still persists. The update is almost impossible to pause and it goes on forever. Gmod also cannot be launched while the bug is happening. I just want to play Gmod again and it makes me so fucking angry that there is still no fix for this that I can find on google.
This is an error that may happen on Linux when gmpublish fails to find its Steam API dependency. You can resolve this by copying the libsteam_api.so dependency from the game's bin/ folder to /usr/lib/, or by setting the LD_LIBRARY_PATH environment variable appropriately. See #4542 for more info.
The short of it is you create a plugins directory under your Steam dir (with mkdir -p /.steam/bin/plugins, if you like) and then copy the downloaded 32bit libflashplayer.so into it. Restart Steam and you should be good.
I have an ancient s775/DDR2 system (replaced with AM3/DDR3 pc), but it has some problems with cooling and I can't turn it on, I don't have much time to solve the problem tho. So, I made a big amount of screenshots on it in gmod, but I can't view them on my new pc (yeah I could just take out the hard drive from the old one and connect it to my new system, but the problem is that my psu has only 1 sata power cable (it had another cable, but got fried by optical drive)). Is there some cloud system thing in Steam that syncs not only addons, but also the screenshots?P.S. Both systems have the same account logged in Steam.
