I cannot find any detailed info on the N2 Z axis drive, control and movement system. Platform Support, Leveling longevity etc. Photos would be great along with some personal reviews.

Thanks

Best to go on their forum on the Raise3d.com website

For the Chinese it is more difficult to get on google groups due to the GFW

Don't know what info you want. It is a dual ball bearing supported bed and factory leveling up to a 0,1 mm accuracy. A4988 step motor (same as on the 2 extruders)
X and Y motor are the more silent TMC2100

I had to re-level mine which is not simple but do-able (9 points to set , each having one bolt and 2 set screws) but only had to do it once and have been printing almost non stop for over 2 months now
(Raise 3d N2 plus dual extruder)

IMO the Z drive system is excellent one of the best but at the same time the approach they took of "factory leveled" bed is a total mistake. Doing it their way you have to set the bed height with a limit control screw... i.e., blind. Swapping plates then becomes a total nightmare. Differences no matter how minute will stall your workflow as you change the limit screw position. Besides the slow changes in bed which would be inevitable... The good news is you can mod the bed for manual level control REAL easy.

Thanks for this. Are there instructions on how to mod it?
