Toby, the "velcro" like 3M tape is only rated to 200F.  Does yours stay on?  I know that this is for PLA printing, but I print mostly ABS and wonder if it would stay on after my ABS prints.

The hook and loop stuff is way far away from the hot area. It's between the fan and the block that rides the x/y rails. The only heat is ambient which will rarely go above 100C/212F. It may be 100C at the bed but it won't be that high above.
