Ive played both but it has been several years and I am thinking about going back to one of these games and playing. Just wondering if anyone else in the community plays either, and what may have changed on them, or if it is better to play on a private server for the games as opposed to the main server since I have seen a few private servers for the two.
i used to play on KDMO, (korean server, since its more updated), but koreans somewhat blocked foreigners, so i went and played on GDMO (global), but soon got a bit bored of grinding back my digis, (im like, level 50-ish there? or something, forgot xD)
why not try some gacha games ?!, two im playing constantly atm are, FGO, and epic 7, both are anime-ish oriented (epic 7 being fully animated, and having an "auto" function, for the lazy guys like me xD), while FGO has some sweet servants that you will grow and love onto (#teamkyutihime)
I never played the KDMO server, only the GDMO server, I got back on it tonight after I figured my account back out, still seems pretty much the same but I have forgotten how to do everything on it lol.
That is the main reason I stopped playing AK as well, I am not very social most all of the time even when I try to be it just doesn't work and that game is probably more fun with someone. I did still enjoy it for quite some time though, it passed time anyways which is mainly what I am looking to do because I am so bored of everything right now.
Oh okay I was about to ask if those are mobile games. I have played a bunch of those cute little gacha games before, and got really addicted to a few of them but I always end up spending money and since I just bought my first house I'm trying to invest in my house and things as opposed to gaming items right now ;-;
on GDMO, i think they added arena?-styled stuff, where you can go for it 3x, with or without a party (preferably with a party), and you get some very neat items by the end of the month (like santa costume? costume stuff, and some perma-digi aura i think, which is neat, perma items is always better than "timed" items tbh)
same, i enjoyed it for some time, it had a really cute buddy-system that i liked >.>, at some point, i know it influenced me in one of my drawings, but i dont think i ever drew it, it was a fun time-passer though.
I haven't done the arena stuff, I have done most other things though, I have a maxed out lvl 99 tamer, and a lvl 70 tamer but it's just been soooooo long since I did anything that I am on my account like, "What's that, what is this button, HOW DO I FIND THE INVENTORY" lmfao.
I have a bunch of the 30 day aura's left on my account, but nothing perma so that would be nice to have if I pick up with playing this again, which I've been on it about an hour now and its been pretty fun again ^^
Yeah that is what I hateee about mobile games, there is so many little transactions. I was playing the Aura Kingdom mobile game actually, and I did so many mini transactions thinking, "oh just one more no big deal........" that I spent close to $200 on like 200 different transactions and my bank identified it as fraud and they locked my account so hard that they actually couldn't unlock it and had to move my funds to a NEW account because they couldn't fix the old one XD it was funny but wasn't at the same time >_>
200$ is a big moolah money >.>... least the bank didn't take it, i think i would probably find that funny too, if it happened to me, but would also find it not funny, couse i mean, its my bank account being blocked, but at the same time, i did something that made it do that >__>.....
I'm not sure I'll join a guild as I never really end up talking much in them anyways so it's kind of pointless for me lol. I usually end up just playing with like one or maybe two people I get to know.
Not only that but I would spend the little amount of time I had to play gathering and grinding Giant Eggs, Timesilk, and Soulsucker. The p2w aspect really gives players an unfair advantage because of Holy Chest and Eidolon Archive that normal f2p players may never actually get before the game dies. Main server is not grindy at all it just wants you to pay money otherwise things are nearly impossible to get. This is just my opinion, you choose what you want. I don't mind waiting for that since it gives me some time to focus on leveling what I already have in progress instead of jumping into the new stuff as soon as it get released. I think they have few more eidolons and 1 more class then the aeria server. Over all some ppl prefer grind and some ppl just prefer the easier way I guess.Īlso the private server might get new content sooner the aeria.
When a server wide xp boost gets turned on it feels like it's a limited time thing (like it should be), like there is more reason to run the same dungeons more efficiently, It might have been to always active xp boost or something like that which in my opinion isn't all that good to have xp boost on 24/7. I tried the private server for a bit, but it didn't felt the same as aeria server ( same as steam version), it felt easy and less interesting. The game hasn't really changed all that much, just more stuff got added, and the lvl cap is something like lvl 120, I'm not sure. But that's not that big of a deal either.From what I know both versions of the game have similar player base, according to steam charts there is around 400 - 500 active players, I couldn't really find any numbers for the private server so I don't really know. The only other issue I'm having is, in the class selection screen, all of the little class icons show up at the bottom and the side thing with the animation and class stats show up but the characters that the camera pans to when you click on an icon don't show up, except for the Reaver and the Crusader. I don't know if that's a common problem but my game seems to be working now. I'll just have to keep it in mind that I can't use the launcher settings. I hadn't realized that there were in game settings, because I hadn't been able to make a character since the game wasn't situated right on my screen, so I tried changing the settings in the game itself and then I quit and reloaded the game, and it seems to be working now.
But I deleted everything and extracted everything from the zip file a third time, and that seems to be working. For whatever reason, changing the settings from the launcher seems to break the game for me, which is fine because I noticed the settings don't stick and kept resetting themselves everytime I quit the game anwyay. Which I had also done the first time, when I made the opening post, but I didn't think anything of it until I did it again later. But I noticed that I ran into the same not-full-screen issue again after I changed the music settings, because there was no music. It seems to only do it the first time after I start up my computer (like after installing it the first time, or after restarting or shutting down my computer) so that's not a big deal. It doesn't do the maintenance thing too often. I've only tested it a few times since earlier but I downloaded the Full Client again (wondering maybe somehow the zip file I downloaded had something wrong with it perhaps) and, like before, it worked fine on the initial boot up. I just updated to Windows 10 yesterday so could this be an issue with that? Or is it something else? I really want to play so any input into why my game isn't working would be appreciated.
