CompAndSave is proud to offer affordable prices on our replacement HP LaserJet 1536dnf MFP toner cartridges that boast genuine-like quality and satisfaction. Why choose CompAndSave in shopping for HP 1536dnf toner cartridges?

Yes, genuine HP toner cartridges are refillable; however, it is not recommended since you have to replace some parts of the toner as well. If you think of refilling an empty toner cartridge, please bear in mind the following pros and cons. The major advantage of refilling is cost-efficiency. It'll be a way cheaper option rather than purchasing a new genuine one. On the other hand, refilled toner cartridges can have issues with the print quality and durability. Toner consists of different parts such as rolling gears, cleaning blades, etc., and these parts wear out over time. This can cause noise when printing, low-quality printouts, and even leakage inside the printer. Another thing to look into is the imaging drum. This holds the image before the toner powder is applied to the paper. Just like the toner, parts of the imaging drum also wear and tear over time.

To sum it all up, we highly encourage you to have it refilled through stores that offer refilling services instead. If you choose to purchase a new one, we at CompAndSave offer a wide variety of cheap printer toner cartridges at a much lesser price without compromising its quality. Our toners are manufactured to meet or exceed the OEM specifications, which will save you from all the trouble of going through the process of refilling a toner cartridge.

My LaserJet 1536dnf multifunction printer/copier/scanner (MFP) worked great for the first few months we had it, but has stopped working for no apparent reason. It no longer communicates with any of my computers, regardless of which USB port it's plugged into. In macOS 10.12, the print queue shows the printer as offline and not connected, even though it's turned on and plugged into my computer's USB port. It also won't copy or scan anymore. For a while, the display on the MFP was showing what appeared to be error symbols, one of which was a triangular arrangement of circles, but I haven't been able to identify what the code meant and now the display is staying dark. We've even replaced the toner cartridge, to no avail. Have any of you encountered these problems and been able to work through them?

The document feeder stopped working. It clicks when trying to feed and comes up with the error Document Feeder Mispick, reload. I cleaned the feed rollers as per the HP video, no change. Is this something I can easily fix myself (I can open screws and lubricate parts if necessary)? Any suggestions?

Thank you for your response. I understand from the experience of others that this is an inherent design flaw. I have tried the solutions you mentioned, they did not work. I would like to try to fix the problem myself to avoid the expense and time of sending it back to HP. The machine is used frequently as a printer and incoming fax, we cannot send it away for a period of time.

I have the same problem and it is frusttrating. HP products are horrible!! Dont even bother calling technical support as you will just talk to someone in India whom you cant understand and will just end up telling you to send in the product or pay to have someone come out and look at the machine. I am going to replace my HP 1536dnf with a competitors product. Goodbye HP....

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post serial numbers and case details.

I have exactly the same problem and the product is out of warranty. I have to drive over to the HP repair centre at Hong Kong for repair and as it's a common problem, can you help me to resolve this issue?

Your response did not solve my document feeder problem on the 1536dnf MFP. Comments from other users indicate that the design of the 1536 is faulty, the document feeder problem is common and recurring. Servicing it may not solve the problem in the long term. I am not prepared to replace the entire printer because of the document feeder problem. Faxing is also an issue with this product now. I am not sure if newer models of HP multifunction printers have better reliability.

I have an HP Laserjet 1536dnf MFP printer. It was hit by a power surge and after electricity was resumed the printer just stuck with blinking ready lights and exclamation mark. I am not sure how to get pass this and was wondering if I can get some assistance.

Need to Reset your LaserJet Pro M1536dnf printer? You are at the right place. In this post, I will show you how to reset your M1536 Laserjet printer. Resetting the HP LaserJet Pro M1536dnf accomplishes the following: Clears all data from...

If the printer is having alignment issue of this nature, then it is possible that it is a hardware issue with the feed mechanism internally. However, there is a document that covers troubleshooting print quality issues in the Laserjet M1536dnf. Click here to access the document.

In my particular case, the paper is set firmly and the feed guides are against the paper edge in my Laserjet 1536dnf yet the print axis is not perpendicular to the right edge of the printed page in portrait mode. I am hesitant to take my printer to an HP site for repair as they charge an arm and a leg when a fingerprint will do.

Unfortunately it is not listed under HP in programs. When attempting to do a complete reinstall the intaller is failing due to a critical error at 99%. The intallment is timing out / taking too long and failing to complete. Would it be something with my windows installer registry or a corrupted file causing this? thanks!

Yes there could be something wrong with Windows installer. It sounds like you received a fatal error. The following document covers many types of fatal errors. You can also check Event Viewer to see if there was a specific code. Let me know what you find out.

I have an hp pavilion dv6 (windows 7) and an hp laserjet 1536dnf. after installing the driver from the hp website, the scan function does not appear on the desktop. the previous advice to go to the start button - all programs - hp did not reveal a way to initiate the scanning application. please advise.

It is a diagnostic utility that can sometimes find and resolve software problems. Let me know what the Print and Scan Doctor says, including if it states everything is working. Are you using Windows 7 32bit or 64bit?

The HP Pavilion dv6 runs on Windows 7 (64 bit). I ran the HP Print & Scan doctor as you previously indicated however, it did not present with an option to "fix scanning." I clicked on "fix printing" and it did not run into any problems. I tried the process twice, with Kaspersky firewall enabled and disabled. Scan icon still missing from desktop.

Per your instructions, I uninstalled and re-installed the Full Feature Software. It was my 4th attempt to download the Full Feature Software and this time, it finally worked! The scan icon immediately appeared on the desktop. Problem solved!

My HP laserjet 1536dnf MFP says rthere is a jam in the cartridge area. I've taken out the cartridge multiple times, and there is no jam there. I've unplugged it, turned it over and shaken it, and that didn't work. The warranty is over, and it has a new cartridge in it, so I'd hate to lose it.

Remove the toner and use a flashlight to check inside for any tiny piece of paper which could be blocking the paper sensor. There might be a piece inside the printer that you aren't able to get to which might be causing the paper jam error.

I would do a power reset to see if that will resolve the issue. With the printer still turned on, disconnect the power cable from the back of the printer. Then disconnect the power cable from the wall outlet.

We have a HP 1536dnf MFP and its giving the error "Install black cartrige or clear jam open&close door". There is no paper jam, we have done ALL the troubleshoot items, multiple times. We have uninstalled and reinstalled the printer, 4 times. We have put it on another computer, uninstalled and reinstalled, 4 times. We followed your suggestion above, multiple times. STILL not working. It will NOT let us print a clearning page, it will not print anything. It will scan, but it will not print. It denies any faxes that come in b/c it will not print. Is there another override? We have done the 'reset" mentioned above, we have done "restore defaults". Is there anything else that can be done? it will NOT print and we have put in 2, yes 2, brand new HP black cartriges. Nothing works...please help...

Is there a way to FORCE the printer to feed a piece of paper through? not through the document feeder - It does that fine with scanning, but is there a way to force it through the printer? b/c nothing else is working and HP tech support just says my only option is to buy a new printer
