What version of Android does your head-unit run? Do you see the SD Card folders listed in the Settings > Library > Music Folders screen, and can you tick/untick folders there? What about if you put a few songs in a folder on the device's internal memory as a test, can they be made to scan correctly?
@maxmp Do any of the current catlog apps provide enough info for you on non-rooted recent-ROM devices, or would the log file need to be captured via an adb terminal session (which might be a bit complex for a non-techie user)?
There is a simple check in Poweramp scanner which won't scan the storage if media (storage/sd card/etc) is not mounted, as this will cause tracks removing from the playlists, categories, etc.
Unfortunately your ROM seems to always indicate that media is not mounted.
Max did offer a few posts ago to create a test build for you, which would mean downloading a new special build and sending him new logs. He asked if you wanted him to do this, but I can't see a reply.
@maxmp you mentioned making a test build for my system, can you do that?
I really want this to be my main audio player. I love the look, feel and functionality.
let me know what you need from me.
Can I use basic music control features on the non-music Forerunner 255? I see the widget, but it does nothing but I'm not sure if the non-music version can't do any music control at all or just basic control of what playing via BT on my phone?
The reason why this wasn't working is I have all watch notifications turned off because I don't care about getting notifications on the watch about text messages or phone calls or calendar events or anything else. I use it strictly for working out training and racing and so all of those were shut off.
So I checked all of that before posting, but it never gives me the ability to interact with what's playing on my phone through the watch. I can open up the music controls on the watch but they don't do anything.
But there is a music control widget on the watch. Why? I understand the *music version would allow for loading of music on the watch & more functionality, but the non music version has a basic control widget
AnyMusic is a tool for Android devices that allows us to download as many songs as we like with just one tap. Not only will we be able to download MP3 audio files, but we will also be able to get MP4 video files.
When we press the MP3 button in the list, the song will automatically download in a few seconds. However, if we tap the download button, we will be able to choose whether we want to download music or video and the quality, though HQ versions are reserved for the premium version of the app.
The system supports more than 1000 platforms and websites, such as YouTube, Vimeo, and SoundCloud. It also features a section for creating playlists, a batch download tool (up to 350 files), and a basic music player for being able to listen to our favorite songs without having to leave the app. If you are not downloading your favorite music, it is because you don't want to.

Hey, so I'm using Spotify both in my iPad and Android phone. Same account. However when I use it on my iPad it allows me to select any particular song from my playlist without having to put it on shuffle till I get to that particular song. I also get unlimited skips and whenever I create a brand new playlist with less than 15 songs Spotify doesn't add any more. And as far as I'm aware, the free version of Spotify doesn't normally have these perks. The ads are still there though. On the other hand, when I sign in onto my phone, everything's normal. I'm only allowed to play in shuffle (can't pick any song I want), and if I make a playlist with less than 15 songs Spotify adds their own. And I only have the normal limited number of skips per hour. So my question is, why does my iPad give me these advantages even though I only have the free version?
Is it giving you screen advertisements? You can also get premium qualities on desktops and PCs. That is because it is giving you screen adverts and the occasional in between songs adverts. It also depends on if you are on the web player online.
We can confirm that even though you have the Free version, you can skip an unlimited amount of songs on the iPad. The iPad functions kinda like a Desktop device. So, there's a difference between having Spotify Free on Desktop and on an Android or iOS phone. The limitations of having a limited amount of skips and Shuffle all the time only applies to a mobile device.
If you've created your Spotify account in the last 7 or 14 days, it may be that you're seeing a feature we're currently offering to new users in certain markets, which lets you pick and play on-demand for 7 or 14 days (depending on the market), making it even easier for you to learn more about our service and discover new music and podcasts.
By saying that you got all Premium features on your Desktop app but not on your phone, you got us thinking that you might be logged into an account that does have Premium (on your PC). Could you please double check if you're logged into the same account on both devices?
We'll be on the lookout for your reply.
On my computer, I have a free account on the web player, but I get unlimited skips and I can play any song on demand. I have had my account for about 6 months. When I got premium and logged into my account again on my laptop, it didn't let me skip unlimited songs or play particular songs on demand and I got ads. Does anyone know what is going on?
I've given the podcasts from the NHS site a shot, but the music isn't really my cup of tea and I really don't like running with music as I find it hard to do my breathing properly (I have no probs with rhythmic breathing when I don't have music playing). Is there somewhere I can just get a speech only version?
iTunes has an app 'c25k free' which I'm going to use. Have tried it but just walking briskly. You can play whatever music you like, and the app buzzes and tells you when to walk, run, etc. as long as your own music isn't too loud it's great. Found it cos week 1 on nhs one didn't seem to work! Hope this helps. I guess Android app also available!
The music is not my cup of tea either. My 11 yr old put some music together and I used that with a free app from the app store c25k which I found good. I only changed back to the nhs and Laura so that I could join in with the comments in this community. I did week 3 run 1 yesterday - the music was gopping. As soon as the 9 weeks are up I'm returning to my son's playlist (Avicii is my favourite!).
Thanks all, I hunted on Google Play again and found one of the ones with Laura's voice and no music as suggested - it's an NHS choices one apparently. It's much better although a bit hard to hear as I'm just playing it on my phone without headphones, and my phone goes in my shoulder pouch thing when I'm running so it's a bit muffled! I'll keep using this until I find a digi watch I can just program to beep at me
This is called Change4Life Couch to 5k. Though in fairness it gets as many 1 star ratings as it does 5 star ratings. so I guess the answer is to try it out. I just finished W3R3 too and am in a similar state of disbelief.
I have a 5th gen iPod that I have used Pandora on since day one. Lately, I've started having issues with Pandora suddenlink stopping and having to be restarted and sometimes the iPod itself had to he restarted. I have deleted the app and reinstalled with no change. I uninstalled the app last night and went to reinstall and I get an error message saying Pandora Music is not compatible with this iPod. I don't understand this issue. Someone please help!
I want to put pandora on my itouch 4th gen (8G) but the app store says the most recent version is incompatible and no abilty to get an older version like the version running on my older itouch 2nd gen- which still works.
Unfortunately, previous versions of the Pandora app are not available to download.
If you are running a version older than iOS 11, you will need to update your device's operating system (OS). Please refer to this article on how to do that.
Otherwise, I'm afraid you won't be able to download the current version of the Pandora app on that device.
Hi Adam. I have an older iPod (5th gen) and the iOS is 9.3.5 which is the newest version it will run. Pandora stopped working with the last update and since I can't update my iOS I was wondering if there is a way to download the older version of Pandora that always worked fine. I'm not particularly tech savvy so please take that into account if you reply. Lastly, I'm not even sure how I got into this "community" site so if you can reply via email I'd really appreciate it.
a friend just bought a used 2013 ipad, and can't install pandora from the appstore. is there a place to download old versions through a verified source like pandora or apple? specifically i think he needs `pandora 3.1.12.ipa`
If you'd like to see the ability to download older / previous versions of Pandora, feel free to check out this existing feature request. You can upvote ideas by searching for the title on the main feature request page and clicking on the icon next to the title of any given suggestion.
Is your head really wedged that far into the dark that you use the same reply to different questions? Where is a version of Pandora that will run on my ipad? It doesn't have to be the latest features as I'm just paying to listen to music.
