Outlook Tasks

I am using your app and it is awesome. I saw that you would like to develop a way to display outlook tasks. Is it still in your plans? It would be very helpful?

If it is not in your plans can you guide me to get it done?

Hi André,

 

I am currently not working on the outlook plugin. I you wish to add something, I can make you a contributor of the project, though.

 

The beef of the plugin is in the file "trunk/RainmeterOutlook/Shared Source/OutlookPlugin.cs"

 

Basically, what needs to be done is to implement a MeasureResult that fetches the Outlook Tasks via COM. You can look at the existing MAPIFolderListResult and MAPIFolderResult to see how it's done for email folders.

 

Then you add your MeasureResult as a new resource type in the GetResource method, you'll find it in line 169ff.
