This song contains a promise that no matter what happens, the singer will be a good brother to his siblings. He also gives his brother advice. He tells him to still look for love in the world, even if it may sometimes seem like a cruel place.

This song talks about the special relationship between brothers. It points out how different blood brothers are from any other familial bond. Brothers are inseparable and are always there regardless of the circumstances.

Vocalist Dan Auerback wrote the song as a tribute to his brother-in-law who died when he was in high school. By referring to him as an unknown brother, we can say that he had never met his brother-in-law.

The song follows the story of Joe Roberts, a patrolman whose brother, Frank, was in the army. As brothers, they are close, but Joe knows all the troubles his brother had gotten into. And it pains him that sometimes he has to turn his head the other way.

The song follows two boys who grew up together and ended up fighting the war. One promised the other that he would always be there to help him. A promise that he would deliver years later when they were soldiers.

Scott and Seth Avett were born in Cheyenne, WY and Charlotte, N.C. (respectively) and raised in Concord, North Carolina. They began with dreams of rock/pop stardom (Scott) and astronaut adventures (Seth). Eventually, they abandoned those dreams for the more attainable goals of folk and old-time stardom, and ultimately, abandoned these dreams for the even less likely dream of making a living playing original songs for everyone to hear.

The audience hung on every word of his stories and every note of the Sherman brothers' songs and was by turns charmed and touched by his recollections. He basked in the adoration, and appeared to be having as much fun as the diehard fans in attendance.

Will Ferrell hilariously sings a specific song during the Catalina Wine Mixer at the end of his iconic comedy, Step Brothers. Step Brothers has remained one of Will Ferrell's most successful movies since its release in 2008. The movie grossed over $120 million against a roughly $60 million budget, making it a commercial success as well as a huge pop culture hit.

Step Brothers is full of quotable moments and memorable scenes, but one the most commonly referred to comes near the end of the film when Brennan (Will Ferrell) is hosting the Catalina Wine Mixer and invites Dale's (John C. Reilly) catering company to provide the food. The whole family reunites for the wine mixer, with Robert (Richard Jenkins) and Nancy (Mary Steenburgen) coming to support Brennan and Dale's newfound stability. This leads to one of the movie's most iconic scenes, when, following the abrupt departure of the event's band, Dale and Brennan step in and save the day by singing this song.

Kevin Jonas was sure to share the love by reposting Nick's TikTok to his Instagram Stories. As for Joe Jonas, leave it to him to poke some fun at the momentous occasion. Joe made a TikTok of his own where he dueted Nick's clip. In the video, he started by listening to what Nick is saying intently before using the "What Fruit Are You?" filter (which put Joe's face on a dancing fruit, enough said) while Nick described the song's original tune.

Gospel music is where the Statler Brothers started. Unlike many of their peers, though, they continued recording religious songs even after finding secular success. The group released this classic hymn as a single to promote a pair of gospel albums based on the Old and New Testament respectively. That was their only concession to commercialism, though. Both albums include Biblical readings at the beginning of almost every track, lest anyone be tempted to listen to the lovely harmonies without appropriate piety. Both the Old and New Testament albums were eventually certified gold.

The song was written by Shuggie Otis for his second album, Freedom Flight in 1971. Guitarist George Johnson, who was dating one of Otis's cousins, came across the track and played it for producer Quincy Jones. The group recorded a more funkier version for their 1977 album, Right On Time. Their rendition hit the Billboard Hot 100 and reached number one on the Soul Singles chart in 1977.

At age 17, Otis wrote "Strawberry Letter 23" as way to describe his romantic feelings for his girlfriend. Though the lyrics commonly refer to "Strawberry Letter 22," Otis explains that, "the song is about a love letter. The guy and the girl had written each other 22 love letters. And the 23rd one he writes is a song."

So when the drop date for the Xmas single featuring Travis was announced, the fanbase began campaigning on social media to secure the song a spot on the charts, especially once they found out it would be supporting charity.

The song, which won in the country duo/group performance category, is broader in its applications, and John also spoke to how its themes spoke to his own experience of not being able to imagine where he has ended up.

The Flim Flam Brothers[3] (or Flim Flam Cider Song[4][5][6]) is a musical number featured in the beginning of The Super Speedy Cider Squeezy 6000. Flim and Flam roll into town on their cider-making contraption and introduce themselves and their machine through song and dance. It is the longest musical number in the series, surpassed only by Welcome to the Show in My Little Pony Equestria Girls: Rainbow Rocks.

From when the song begins, the Super Speedy Cider Squeezy 6000's mechanical sounds match the beat of the music, which was accomplished by the sound design team providing Daniel Ingram and Steffan Andrews with samples of the sound effects of the cider machine, which they then implemented into the song's composition.

The number shares many similarities to the number "Ya Got Trouble" from The Music Man. Both songs share the same fast-talking vocal style, and both are sung by people wearing straw boater hats who are addressing the inhabitants of a small town. In both songs, the lyrics take the form of a speech which the singer uses to convince the townsfolk into falling for his scheme. By the end of both songs, the crowd is so fully convinced that it joins in to sing the final chorus, with particular emphasis on the chanting of one key word: "trouble" in the original and "cider" in this song.

Atop of all this, the band still visited five songs from other eras, like standalone 2020 single "What a Man Gotta Do" and Nick Jonas' solo single "Jealous." JinJoo Lee, guitarist for Joe Jonas' other band DNCE, got a standout moment during "Cake by the Ocean," ripping into an elaborate solo while lying on the center of her stage on her back as a tsunami of confetti flew over her. "Camp Rock" song "Play My Music," a tour rarity last played in September, got a massive ovation.

Making the movie proved far more complicated than singing some songs on SNL. Aykroyd, who had never even read a script let alone write one, turned in a bloated screenplay that director John Landis had to rewrite.
