No, I didn't but...

Doug meet me in Leavenworth Friday morning. We went in to check out Argonaut Peak. Doug patently waited for me while I climbed 1200' NE Couloir (35-45 degree snow), through 20' rock band to the upper snow field. I stopped 200' below the summit do to poor snow conditions. I attached couple of pictures, beautiful area.

Yes, I went to Muir.  I was the only one that showed up so I went by myself.  I got there in 4hr 50min.  Hot sunny the whole way. There were about about 40 people there, kicking back and basking in the sun.  A group of ten showed up pulling a sled with a keg of beer.  They wasted no time in tapping the keg and commencing to party.  It was a festive atmosphere with music blasting.  There was a constant flow of people coming and going.  I reclined in the sun for about forty minutes and then headed back down.  It was pretty slippery on the way down, but I didn't use snowshoes or crampons at any time.  I'll probably do it again this Saturday.  Same time, same place.
