July Climbing and Meeting Schedule
6/29/2010
We will be meeting at the White River Camp Ground on July 9th for
equipment training, distribution of gear, and climb organization.
We will climb to Camp Sherman on Saturday the 10th and possibly make
a summit attempt on the 11th.
Support people should join us at White River so you can be integrated
into the group.
We will later convene the week of the 18th through the 25th. We will
be climbing from Paradise on Wednesday the 21st. We will need
support people to help carry loads to Muir and survey the lower
control points starting Wednesday the 21st. I am planning on going to
the park on Sunday the 18th and will be staying at Cougar Rock. We
will reserve campsites for those that wish to come early.
Support people and climber plan on attending organizational and
training meeting on the 9th at White River Camp Ground.
The next opportunity to meet will be on Tuesday the 20th at Cougar
Rock.
The climb and survey will be the 21st through the 25th.
Let me know if you; (1)need a camp site at Cougar Rock and for what
days (18th through 25th), (2) are a support person and when we can
expect to see you, and (3)if you will be at White River on the 9th.

I'm afraid I have a wedding to attend on the 10th of July. I can make
it for the training session on the 9th, but I will be unable to climb
on the 10th. At this time, I don't anticipate staying at Cougar Rock.

I'm afraid I have a wedding to attend on the 10th of July. I will be

the climb on the 10th. At this time, I do not anticipate staying at

You'll see me on the 9th! As for the "real" climb, I'm still in
school, so I'll be down on the 21st.

I will attend the White River Campground meeting on 9th with a view to
at least climb to Sherman, so I guess I will need a camp site. What
time did you have in mind to kick off this meeting?
As far as the main clim/survey goes, I am planning to attend between
21-25 July either way, but in what capacity I still don't know; summit
team or support team? To be honest, I am slightly nervous about the
big climb, especially in light of the accident up there last Thursday.

Hey guys,
I will be ther on the 9th- 6:30? I'll be flying in that day, what
time do you need me at the campground? Do I need to make reservations
