It was still snowy right from the parking lot, with some exposed rocks above Panorama Pt.
Leaving at 8 the snow was firm enough on the way up, but quite slippery on the way down in the afternoon...but even then still pretty packed, so as long as one stayed on the trail, you didn't post-hole all the way down, like at Baker.
Looks like it may rain up there the next couple of days & be kind of cool for the weekend, so conditions might be tolerable.
