How to Prime the Pump

I love the Date Time Picker (DTP).  But I have a question:

Is there a way to invoke the DTP with existing date / time data to allow the user the opportunity to change existing information, so they don't have to re-key it each time?

The DTP by default will use the existing date or datetime in the textbox associate to it. If the textbox is blank, it will pick today's date.
