When I ordered this TP-Link AC1300 Wireless Dual Band PCI-Express Adapter (Archer T6E), I looked into customers reviews and they said it worked fine with no drivers on Ubuntu. I didn't have a CD/DVD player on my desktop so I (on a laptop with a DVD drive) copied and pasted the DVD support disk content on to a USB drive and used that. But when I tried to run autorun.exe it puts up archive manager and says An error occurred while loading the archiveUbuntu verison- Ubuntu 16.04 LTS.

I am running Windows 7 and when I run cmd.exe I want it to start upin a directory named C:\foo\bar. I remember being able to create alink to this executable on the desktop and right clicking somewhereto set the startup menu of the cmd.exe command prompt by fillingout a field in a transient window, but I cannot find it. I havefound the following argument which however seems more complicated.I want to set the startup directory for cmd.exe via a popup window.

Our agency uses SCCM and HPCA / HPSA for application deployment. Because of a recent virus attack that utilizes autorun.inf, we have created an Application & Device control policy for our SEP clients following this link: =content&id=TECH104909

If you want to protect your systems from an autorun.inf that links to malware than you only need to block explorer.exe from reading autorun.inf. Only explorer.exe will run processes listed in the autorun.inf. Your software installers should still function correctly because only explorer.exe is blocked from accessing these files not the installers.

If you want to do both, protect your systems from autorun.inf files that link to malware and stop programs from writing autorun.inf files to your network then you can create two rules. One rule that blocks explorer.exe from reading autorun.inf and another rule that stops any application from writing autorun, inf to a network drive. I have attached a sample Application and Device Control policy that does this. I modified rule [AC9] from the default SEP 12.1 RU2 ruleset.

The program offers a variety of editing features. I found myself spending quite some time playing around with all of them. You can add text blocks and enter your annotations, add buttons, shapes, lines and other objects just by dragging them onto the menu screens with the mouse. To add navigation and interactivity to the menu, you should add links and hotspots to objects, as well as interactive actions that automatically trigger when the mouse is over the item or the item is clicked. For example, you can set an image to show a tooltip when the mouse is over or set a button to play a sound and open a document when the button is clicked. There are no limitations on how elaborate the interactivity can be, so you can make it anything you imagine.

Specify existing agent group or groups where you want to add the agent. If you do not specify an agent group during the install process, you can add your linked agent to an agent group later in Tenable Nessus Manager or Tenable Vulnerability Management.

Click on the link below to download the software. You will need to unzip the file, save the contents to a folder, and then click on the autorun.exe file, found in the MediaImage folder, to launch the software installation.

I'm not (as you'll readily see) knowledgeable with respect to how USB devices operate, hence the following question, and scenario:
Is the USB device anything like the CDROM, where when you pop in the cdrom, Windows runs the autorun (or whatever the name is) executable?
If so, then all you would have to do is to rename slurp.exe to autorun.exe (again, whatever the name is), and have Windows automatically run the program, which subsequently searches and copies all relevant files to the device. In that case, you wouldn't even have to have login access to the computer (maybe?).
Again, this shows my total ignorance wrt USB devices and how they work in Windows.

1. Go to task scheduler. You will find an entry for TT RGB PLUS.
2. Click on the Actions tab and you will see C:\program and that's it. This is where task scheduler is supposed to point to the directory where TT RGB PLUS program lives. The Task Scheduler doesn't know where to start the program. >>> The reason is some programmer didn't use "" around the link if there are spaces in the link. Thermaltake is notorious for placing spaces in names EG: TT RGB PLUS.exe It should be all on word or at least have TT_RGB_PLUS.exe. Anyway, C:\program files is the first space in the link so it skips the rest of the path. It should of looked like this "C:\Program Files\tt\tt RGB Plus\TT RGB PLUS.exe". You see how many spaces there are. This is 2nd week programming class here.

3. Anyway, click on the tt rgb plus entry listed in task scheduler
4. Then right click it and go to properties.
5. Click on the "actions tab"
6. Then click on the "start a program" entry where you see the partial entry.
7. Then select edit from the bottom. Once you get into edit you need to click browse
8. Navigate to the tt rgb plus.exe. It's path should be here unless you changed it. "C:\Program Files\Tt\TT RGB Plus\TT RGB Plus.exe" select that TT RGB PLUS.exe program..
9. Here is the actual fix, Once the newly corrected link is selected, place "" around it like this. Exactly like this "C:\Program Files\Tt\TT RGB Plus\TT RGB Plus.exe". If you don't place "" around it then it will do what it did before and break the link.

The link file is a shortcut to the previous contents of the partition. Not only that, some of my folders (along with the files inside it) have gone missing. I suspect it's a virus but AVG and AVAST doesn't detect a thing (actually some Metasploit files but I know it's false positive) other than windows 7 loader extreme edition (w7lxe.exe). I recently installed a desktop theme, though, which had a explorer.exe and shell with it. Any suggestions? (file recovery's already solved)
