WWD Annual Membership Meeting & Election

Dear WWD Members,

Usually, we host the WWD Championships in June, but that obviously isn't possible this year. However, we will hold the annual WWD membership meeting as planned, but we will be doing it online since we can't meet in person.

All current WWD members are encouraged to attend. We will discuss the impact of COVID-19 on the fencing community, and we will share what we know about WWD and USFA plans for next season.

We will also be electing the WWD Officers for the 2020-2021 season. All of the other current officers are running for re-election, so the slate of proposed officers is as follows:

Vice Chair #3: Rachel Hughes
Treasurer: Sylvie Troxel
Secretary: Mike Reiter

As always, additional candidates may be nominated for any of the positions. If you wish to nominate someone, please email the nomination to dber...@gmail.com. Nominations will also be accepted from the floor at the membership meeting. All nominees must indicate acceptance of the nomination either via email or at the membership meeting.

All current WWD members age 18 or older are eligible to vote. Our Bylaws require there are at least 10 voting members at the meeting for a quorum, so please plan on attending!
