Mr PCD Nambiar, former Chairman of the State Bank of IndiaI and director of the Leela Hotels and
director of various companies is critically ill at the Madras Medical Mission Hospital in Chennai. He is 86.
He had a hip operation in London a couple of years ago after a fall at Heathrow.
Recently he fell again and has been at home ailing for the last couple of weeks.
