The desert
The desert is an unforgiving place when
covered by unforgiving Sun.
No shade for one to rest their head
As days and nights roll into one.
The heat searing , burning sands not endearing
Seeking refuge from the clearing
Finding cool in water, though heated
In a bath I am seated.
Submerged , I hear my heart
Beating loud as I start,
breathing air into the lungs
Holding air, hearing expansion
Hearing heart begin to slow
And beating so, with MotherEarth is comforting
joy rings when singing begins
voice rings with heart sings
Giving thanks for pure waters of every quarter
Of MotherEarths enormous girth
and in the sky, clouds float by
sharing shade for the moment as
Angels floating by bring relief
Waking Rainbow Fumes
gray rainbow white gray
I Love You All near and far for the bright Star you are
