Sat Nam dear Rainbow Sangat,
Following recent email from our friend Cristophe Degraeuwe, I am writing to all of you regarding the next European Yoga Festival 31st July - 8th August 2012 at the new site at Chateau Anand.
The Rainbow Sangat initiative two years ago was well attended but last year nothing much took place in this regard and only a small group gathered to take a stand about important issues in our K.Yoga community(ies) and organize a series of afternoon workshops at the EYF this year.
I'd would like to present an afternoon workshop entitled "The Art of Loving: Humanology and Same Sex Relationships" hopefully together with Sohan Kaur.
Others like Carolyn Cowen (Kartar Kaur) from Devotion will also like to present another workshop and she is to let you know more about it soon.
Please respond to this message soon so we can ask Satya Singh to reserve a space for us and include our workshops in the EYF programe.
I would also like to invite you watch the video from All Out that remixes the latest speech of U.N. Secretary General Ban Ki-moon. It tells the story of the movement for all people to live and love freely.
The fact that such a high-profile leader has spoken out is momentous, but many key nations didn't hear his call to act at all. A handful of member states in the United Nations Human Rights Council actually walked out of Ban Ki-moon's speech in protest of LGBT rights http://www.allout.org/thetimehascome
Love and Blessings,
Raghurai Singh

Subject: homosexuality and sikhs
sat nam, dear gay community of 3HO!
I just found this article ('Homosexuality and Sikhism') on Facebook and on which I've reacted because again they are putting gay people in the shadow and stigmatizing them as 'not how it's supposed to be' from a Sikh point of view.
I think we have to be aware of the constant discrimination and react to it in a calm but firm way. Silence is Death.
Read it for yourself: http://networkedblogs.com/vnyrR
The article has been published on the "Yogi Bhajan" page of Facebook, so we are ALL concerned whether we are Sikh or just sympathising.
Hope to hear from you!
Love & Light

Dear Tarn Taran Singh,
Thank you for sending information about KRI level 3. As a Professional teacher trainer I have loved Yogi Bhajan's Teachings and am very much involved in delivering Level 1 following KRI and lead trainers from Karam Kriya School guidelines.
I am a member of the Rainbow Sangat and part of missl leader at Guru Ram Das Gurdwara at the EYF. As Level Three "reflects the core values of mutuality, respect, transparency and inclusivity " I would very much like to see these qualities considered to include same sex relationships in the humanology part of the teachings.
With this mind, please find attached a collection of articles collated from Sarbat.net, a London website which campaigns for equality for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgendered (LGBT) Sikhs.
I would also like to invite you to watch the video from All Out that remixes the latest speech of U.N. Secretary General Ban Ki-moon. It tells the story of the movement for all people to live and love freely.
The fact that such a high-profile leader has spoken out is momentous, but many key nations didn't hear his call to act at all. A handful of member states in the United Nations Human Rights Council actually walked out of Ban Ki-moon's speech in protest of Lesbian Gay Bisexual and Transgendered rights.http://www.allout.org/thetimehascome with this in mind I very much hope that KRI does not 'walk out' and takes a clear stand on same sex relationship and spirituality
Love and blessings
