Enjoy "Ong Sri Sresti" by Sat Darshan Singh do Brasil from the album Songs of Infinite Love
With his new CD, "Songs of Infinite Love", Sat Darshan Singh (Brasilia) again offers a surprising combination of spirituality and strong melodies blended with African and oriental influences. His songs are quite original and sometimes surprising in their shape and production, yet they have the capacity to sink deep into your listening mind.
While some of the songs are woven like meditations (Ong Sri Sresti, Sat Narayan, Ardaas Bhaee), other songs have this catchy and uplifting mood (Bountiful, O Nanak...All in All, Adays Tisai Adays). As in Sat Darshan's previous CD AFRICA AWAKENING, there is again a sensible African input, as the CD has been produced in
Burundi (Central Africa) with the cooperation of 18 African and Indian musicians. The Orient is never far away and in a unique song, Sat Darshan refers to Guru Nanak's period in Baghdad during one of his many travels which results in a pure Arab styled version of the Mul Mantra.
"Songs of Infinite Love" will touch you and will open new worlds to you. The songs reflect the spirituality of the New Age, interpret mantra's of the Kundalini Yoga and texts of the Sikh tradition but at the same time, they are pleasant and cheerful music to listen at, in or out of meditation, in or out of the yoga space!
The colorful booklet that accompanies de CD provides 4 meditations to do with the music.
