Four Community Building Time, August 9, 2009:

Four and 60 years ago
Truman dropped the second A-bomb
Someday soon we have to go
to Nagasaki and say from

Kansas City we are sorry.
Hiroshima was bad enough
but Nagasaki went too far
and brought us now to where we are

Still. The Peace & Justice Fellowship
has August bookmarks down by the donuts.
Take one and read a book or two
about something that gets us out of ruts.
