Dear friends and supporters of Indiana Center for Middle East Peace,

     We conclude our series, "Voices of Justice, Human Rights, and Moral Revival" with one of the leaders  this Thursday, May 28, 2:00pm Eastern time hosting Palestinian physician, activist, and politician, Dr. Mustafa Barghouti.  

     We're very honored for this conversation with Dr. Barghouti, Founder of the Palestinian Medical Relief Society, Secretary General of the Palestinian National Initiative Political Party, and Member of the Palestinian Legislative Council.

     Dr. Barghouti is the recipient of the French Legion of Honor and was nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize in 2010 by Northern Ireland activist Mairead Maguire, who had won the prize in 1976,   Maguire explained that she was "inspired by the life and work of Dr Barghouti whose commitment to nonviolence, in his personal and public life, is truly in the Gandhian spirit." A prize to Barghouti, she wrote, "would be a recognition of not only his great spirit of peace and nonviolence, but also the Palestinian Nonviolent Movement, which gives us all hope for the future of Palestine, Israel and the Middle East Community."
