To my good and generous friends:
I will be turning 66 in a few days, and posted a humble request on Facebook, that if I had FIVE friends who could pledge $13 each, I would kick in the last dollar to make $66 for Mennonite Central Committee.
Well, the donations now total $134 and I am getting more ambitious. Could we get to $166 ("66 and one to grow on")?
That would be just $32 more (4 friends at $8 each).

Of course, I expect each of you to reciprocate when your birthday arrives, but luckily for me, you aren't as old, and won't be asking for as much money!
