Our sweet home is looking for two new tenants. Both rooms are available on May 1. We will be a four person household with four bedrooms, 1.5 baths, a cozy kitchen/living room and nice little back yard patio. Historically the feel of the house has been really homey: sharing food, having community over, working on projects, and contributing to a very enjoyable home. The house is on York street at 24th in the Mission...close to all kinds of wonderful establishments, parks and hills. Both rooms are nice size, both have hardwood floors. One has an east facing window, lots of light, and unfortunately is a bit noisy. The other gets a little less light, but is quiet. The rent is 650/ for the month plus 40 in utilities (this actually may increase as the master tenant is moving out). Here's a brief (very brief) description of tenants:
me (Leland): I am 30 years old and queerly boyish. I work two part time gigs- one cleaning residential spaces and the other care taking and little one-year-old. I work little in order to adventure more, trying to get out of the city very regularly. I am an avid bike rider, both commuting long distances and going on trips. The majority of my home time is spent crafting, cooking, and doing food projects. I've been in the city for 6+ years, and have a solid community I spend a lot of time with and enjoy having over for meals. I've got a garden plot a few blocks from the house and love growing food there. I also spend lots of time dreaming about parenting (though nowhere near), ha!
N: 31 year old student studying at CIIS. Just moved to the city about 6 months ago from the east coast. She's pretty private/quiet, studying a lot and hanging with folks outside the house. She enjoys cooking in the common areas, sharing about school, and talking about her volunteership with an organization supporting incarcerated folks.
Thanks all!
Leland
