Note: Ellie came into the shelter as a stray hit by a car. She is a beautiful blue and white girl with a gentle, soulful personality. Ellie enjoys attention from people. 

Vet Notes: 3/12 -QAR-H.  mm pk moist.  Not attempting to stand, but laying sternal. 

Friendly, amenable to examination.  Superficial skin lesion right lateral stifle. 

Acute superficial abrasions ventral abdomen and groin- wounds appear clean.   

No palpable fractures of rear limbs.  Resting quietly and is tender for examination of back end- did not stand up to assess hips at this time. 

3/13 - QAR.  Appetite is moderate- eating canned, Drinking water well 

Moved around in run some yesterday.   

When placed in standing position this AM, non weight bearing right rear. 

Distal laxity of limb consistent with fracture. 

Suspect right proximal femoral +/- pelvic fracture.
