vcruntime140_1.dll get flagged by windows defender often and puts it in a high level risk .. it annoying to go and let it allow on this device every time you start up ableton cause without the vcruntime140_1.dll ableton gets deregistered and also for some reason i cant seem to stream ableton 12 on discord now i was streaming fine with audio in live 11.... pls fix and upload the new patch... much appreciated to the team....

idk it this is your first time cracking ableton live but you will find the hardware code when u open ableton live and click on no internet on this computer register offline ... then it'll prompt you to save a notepad file .. open the notepad file and you'll get the hardware code
Deactivate your virus protector. Install the program, then open it, go to the no internet open and copy the code. Then copy over the file to the correct directory where the program is installed, use the generator to create the authorization file. Then drag and drop the file into the registration box. You should get a message saying it's authorized. When you get a notification from Defender firewall to allow it through, tell it no! In the program, disable automatic updates!!!
My vcruntime140_1.dll is frequently blocked by window defender. It's complicated in that every time I want to use ableton live 12, I have to copy it again to the main data drive & have to turn off Defender again, which is very time consuming. Hopefully there will be a fix soon.
so install went fine, it boots and everything. only thing is, i can't get the license to work. i did the whole offline authorization thing but then it just keeps saying "invalid product". does anyone have a solution for this??
"Server or network error, please check your internet or firewall settings." - "You still have have a trial license for this application" are the 2 errors I keep getting when trying to extract the file
For those in the know, what can I do to make Ableton 12 launch (My PC is a bit Old, but hasn't had any issues with all previous updates and whenever I get a specs issue, the Computer usually alerts me)?
ProgramData>Ableton>Live 12 Suite> Program folder. I couldn't find the "%PROGRAMDATA%" (which is the program folder you need to put the vcruntime.dll file in) so i just opened run command on windows and typed in "%PROGRAMDATA%"
