If you think by electing either Obama or Romney, you would see meaningful changes in American domestic and foreign policies, you’d better think again!  They are not even two sides of the same of coin.  If there is any difference between the two at all, it is simply engraved on the same side!  That is the “head side” to keep masses at bay for the ruling class of the world.

Four years ago I posted a note on Obama; comparing him with Ahmadinejad in response to a friend’s message titled Vision for change:

One thing in common between the two is their enormous ability to build upon their association with the much deprived portion of the society.  They are both street smart.  One sharp difference between the two is the fact that Ahmadinejad –while not successful— does indeed represent his bases and lives a humble life.  Mr. Obama does not.  I do not intend to be cynical, but if “American White” is a symbol for oppressor and “American Black” for oppressed, I have seen more of “American White” in Mr. Obama than “American Black”; both in his domestic and foreign outlooks.  He has already pledged his allegiance to the ruling class of America by supporting them in privatizing gain to the rich and socializing loss to the poor.  But his more of the same policy is his imperialistic view.

Now we have his report card to prove how Obama managed to serve his masters riding on the back of the ordinary people.  Forget about his devious foreign policy or inhumane economic sanctions; just take a look at his health care reform.  What was the problem with health care?  Yes, it was partially insurance coverage, but the real devil was (and still is) high cost.  While doctors make a decent living for their services, they are not an issue in respect to high costs.  It is pharmaceutical companies, and medical test services, e.g. CT Scan, MRI, etc. that are real money making machines.

I have yet to see anything in ObamaCare to identify such cost factors in health care, let alone a solution to the problem.  In other words, he simply prescribed medical treatment without looking at diagnosis!  Such a recipe is obviously appealing to the big guys to keep operating the ultimate money making machine.  Since insurance companies are also for profit, it is the little guy who would ultimately take the tab by paying higher premiums and taxes.  In other words, ObamaCare does not slow down the churning process for the rich, but requires the working class to pay for the poor!

No wonder the little guy started to realize that not only ObamaCare was not a cure, but also the pain is getting worst.  Having noticed it, Romney exploited the issue to campaign for repealing ObamaCare!  However, it is not to reduce the deficit, but rather to justify expanding an already largest military budget of the world!  Interestingly enough, Obama also brags about having spent more on military than any other administration.  In short, both of them favor Military Industrial Complex to keep America Strong or the rest of the world weak!  Then again, while ordinary Americans scarify their lives for dubious causes overseas, and are indebted financially for generations to come, it is defense contractors who enjoy the profit from MIC.  The net result is simple.  For every dollar you pay in Federal taxes, about 44 cents of it covers the cost of wars.

It is true that peace requires strength, but empires have always abused it for war.  The U.S. is no exception, and democracy is just the name of the same old devious game

Peace,

Mohamad Purqurian
