Please, if you agree with the following statement, send a letter to Mr. Pelley of CBS ( eve...@cbsnews.com / invest...@cbsnews.com ) demanding correction of his erroneous statement and requesting that the error not be repeated in any of future CBS broadcasts.

I was disappointed to hear that Mr. Pelley on his news cast this evening referred to the historical Persian Gulf as the Arabian Gulf. Perhaps he was referring to the Arabian Sea, but last time I researched this body of water it is the Persian and not the baseless and erroneous term Arabian Gulf. He should correct this faux pas in his next report.
I have no personal stake in this other than preserving history, something I believe we all need to do. It seems senseless to refer to this body of water as any other name, it would be like calling the Gulf of Mexico the Gulf of Texas or Florida. Come on.... Isn't the news suppose to be factual an unbiased?
