The content from the Rails Tutor Redmine site is now moved over to the new installation. So the deployment is now officially complete. As I mentioned in my last email I have more features planned, but this at least gets us to the level of functionality we had before, with a few new bells and whistles.
Next steps:
1) User accounts were NOT ported over, so if you are working on courseware or want to have an account on the site, you will need to re-create your account and then I will add you as a collaborator if you so request. Just drop me a line to let me know if you want edit rights.
2) Please publicize the new site - we could use a little more publicity, which will hopefully help drive more authorship.
3) I removed the names from documents that hadn't been started on the actual wiki. If you are
actively writing them off-line, please update the courseware outline (
http://railstutor.org/projects/rails-tutor/wiki/Courseware_Outline ) with your name and "In Progress." Please post updates to those documents periodicially - even if they take awhile to write - so that we know someone is working on them. I know they can't all be banged out in a day; just want to make sure nothing languishes just because it has a name on it.
Thanks especially to Eric Davis who helped me a lot getting Redmine customized to our needs.
Cheers!
