Updated a rails 3.1.4 app to current moonshine and all hell broke loose.

The old passenger.vhost.erb parse bug is back, though the previous offending apostrophes do not exist. Something new has been introduces.

moonshine:apply is no longer applied to cap deploy.

Wondering if I'm missing something.

I reverted to the versions of my fixed vhost.erb file and moonshine plugin I was using about 5 months ago. However, moonshine:apply is still not being applied.

Perhaps b/c I moved up to cap 2.12.0?

Actually, I just confirmed the last. I rolled back to cap 2.11.2 and moonshine:apply now running on deploy.

If I understand you, you're saying you get the parse bug when deploying with capistrano 2.12.0, but not 2.11.2?

I find that very weird, since that shouldn't be changing how the code is running.

What version of ruby are you running in development and your servers?
