Am using rails installer version 1.1.1 and i was successfully able to upgrade its rails version from rails 3 to rail 3.2.9 (though i don't remember how). Now am trying to update its ruby version to 1.9.2. Is this possible through the command prompt. If not could you have any ideas on how to do this or should i just download the latest railsinstaller version and quit the hustle. Thanks

Hi,

The best bet here would be to just remove the old version and install the new one. There is not a graceful upgrade path and the old version will likely be deprecated when 1.8.7 is End-of-Life'd.

Thanks,
Evan
