I have just joined the group. I am curious to know how long you all
have been working with Rails (or Ruby) and what sorts of projects are
you working on. Is anybody working full time on Rails(or Ruby)?

hi vikram

i'm offering techncial leadership on various technology consulting and
i've taken up on ruby on rails as my primary offering now.

I'm quite familiar with this framework - facing quite a few issues
with plugins avaialble from ruby on rails. Particualrly,
activescaffold, i'm finding it difficult to use the following

1. How to build drop down values pulled from database (say country,
year etc stored in DB and pulled to user to select while entering).
2. How to upload a image file to Db using activescaffold on ruby on
rails?
3. How to build custom query screen on table columns from UI>

any help with clear examples would be highly appreciated.
