Hi guys,

I recently moved to UK and are very much looking forward to this
event.

I will be going from Friday to Monday and was wondering if anyone else
is going that I can tag along with? Right now I'm planning on taking
National Express bus from London at 10:30 Friday and returning from
Margate on Monday at 14:15.

Cheers and see you there :)

I plan on getting a train from Victoria to Margate at about 7pm,
should get to Margate shortly before 9pm.

What is the plan for Friday night?

Hey Guys,

Thanks for bringing this up, been meaning to drop a mail about the plans.

So please arrive any time after 12 on Friday, the plan for Friday night is just a nice relaxed evening of Pizza and Beers (or soft drinks if you'd rather) and we can all get to know each other before commencing the hacking.

As for getting to Margate; from London Victoria trains depart there at 3 minutes and 33 minutes past the hour. (13:03, 13:33 etc.).  Once you arrive at the train station the hostel is easy enough to find, come out of the building and turn left and walk along the seafront path until you see the hostel, there are signs for a cafe on the beach just opposite, but it's easy enough to find.

If you're planning on driving, there are plenty of free parking spaces outside the hostel on the road. However, if you are and are able to offer a lift please post here with where you are and your travel plans and perhaps we can get some car sharing going on.

Happy Camping, see you at the weekend!

I'll be driving, but I'm somewhat vague at present about when I'll be
leaving and stuff so carsharing _to_ Margate might be a bit tricky.

Car sharing _from_ with at least one passenger should be possible.

I'll be bringing various bits of XBox/RockBand/Guitar Hero
paraphenalia, but life would be a good deal easier if I don't have to
bring a TV/Monitor as well, since mine is all ISO mounted and stuff.

Good to know! So a lift from Margate is available to any taker!

There are 2 tv's at the venue although not the largest, they'll do the job for a bit of xbox, and with any luck we can hook them up to the projector later on :)

Schweet! Rez on a projector is remarkably good fun, specially if the
audio's good...

Happy Campers,

Sorry for the short notice. Decided I too will drive (from Marlow) so happy to sweep up anyone west of London provided they can get themselves to Hillingdon tube station or can conspire to be at a sat-nav friendly spot not too far from the M40/M25. Will probably set off lunchtime-ish to arrive mid afternoon.

Coming back I need to head to Sydenham in south London for early afternoon so I might not be able to ferry anyone both ways.

If I can help anyone (or ~three) out do say.
