[railscampnz] Back to the airport sunday night or monday morning

Hi everyone, I was just wondering if there are any options to get back
to the CHCH airport on Sunday evening or early Monday morning.I read
somewhere that you should try and book flights after 2PM on Monday,
but that isn't a good option for me. Are there any other options (will
a bus be going back earlier) or are there taxis/buses from Mount
Cheeseman?

I was looking at booking my flights, but it is hard when I am not sure
what the plan is around finishing and transport.

Still lotsa cheap flights from Welly to CHCH, but not sure how long
they will last.

Hi,

Unfortunately there is no transport scheduled to go back earlier. The
camp is up a road inaccessible by many vehicles so we have booked
special transport to take us up there. You could make it up in a sedan
style car if you're careful but I don't think you'd be able to get a
taxi up there :-)

The provided transport will be leaving Monday morning but I can't give
you a time yet, sorry.

Hope that helps a little. Maybe someone local is planning to do the same??
