Camp this year? + London Rails Conference info

Hello,

Has anything been said about a UK rails camp this year? I saw a
mention on the railscamp.org website, but nowhere else...

I was curious, because I am starting to organise a Rails conference in
London, in July - provisionally Friday 24-25th. It's a 'traditional'
conference, similar in format to the Scotland on Rails event.

I was already thinking of trying to get some sort of tutorial day or
hackfest going for perhaps the day before (or after) the conference
and maybe even continuing in the evenings(?) - I've seen a couple of
these done before (sometimes with a charity theme) and they seem to be
popular, and a nice way to really meet people and get a community vibe
going.

So, given that I was already going to try to organise something, I
thought I'd get in touch with you guys, because, a) you must know more
about this sort of this than me; b) you might be interested in
attending and/or helping organise it! :) c) if whoever is organising
this year's railscamp wants to hook up, and take advantage of the
venue or facilities, it might be possible. I'm not sure that the
conference venue would be suitable for a sleep-over, though, so that
might not quite work out the same way...

If there are already plans afoot for a railscamp, I need to make up
for missing the one last year! I live about 10 minutes away from
Orpington, but I didn't find out about it until the last minute, and
already had other committments :/

Even though I answered this on the LRUG list, I'll just echo the
comment here for others:

The next UK Rails Camp will probably be happening early-mid August -
I'm not running it this time, but I should be in the UK at the same
time again :)

More details when a date and venue are set in stone.
