There's a new podcast called Code Newbies which is about -- you guessed it! -- being new to coding. See http://www.codenewbie.org/ for links to the podcast and bkig articles. Saron Yitbarke, the host, is a panelist on the Ruby Rogues podcast, another good resource (http://rubyrogues.com/episode-guide/).
