RailsBridge and BridgeFoundry are looking for personal stories to include in its annual report, which is important for fund raising. Our Boston workshops are funded by our local sponsors, but Bridge Foundry provides us with some nonprofit financial infrastructure. It lets us do things like make sponsorship contributions tax deductible. Bridge Foundry also funds workshops in other locations where there isn't such a big tech community.

"If you have stories to tell about what you or others have accomplished in the past year, how RailsBridge changed your life (or the lives of people you know or have heard about), now is the time! Please send out quotes with attribution (e.g. name and role: Volunteer, Student, Organizer, Open Source Developer) or whole stories. Our goal is to pull together a complete draft in the next week, so now is the time! "
If that fits you, please reply to Sarah's post at

Hi everyone,
This is particularly an important tool for fund-raising, but also I believe it will help alignment within our organization and help spread the word about all of the awesome stuff people are doing. We decided it was too much to do an annual report for both RailsBridge and Bridge Foundry, so we're grouping them into a single report.
If you have stories to tell about what you or others have accomplished in the past year, how RailsBridge changed your life (or the lives of people you know or have heard about), now is the time! Please send out quotes with attribution (e.g. name and role: Volunteer, Student, Organizer, Open Source Developer) or whole stories. Our goal is to pull together a complete draft in the next week, so now is the time!
Thank you!
Sarah
